So it’s been a while since I wrote on this site. But I am back. Every Friday I am going to make a post about my attempts to break into the comic book industry as a creator.
I have been working at this for about 2ish years now. Sometimes I feel like I should be further along than I am.
I have two comics I have kickstarter, and a few mini comics self published as a writer.
And here 3 months into 2019 making some progress, I have two anthology stories coming out soon! After many rejections (which are part of the road, but always hard to take).
I have a story in The “Why Faith?” anthology called “Faith and Forever” I wrote it and Wilson Gandolpho (who also was the artist on my first comic “Digital Forever”) coming to Indiegogo in April of 2019!
Also I have a story in the “My Kingdom for a Panel” anthology called “Where 4RU?” with artist Noah Ray (who I have few other mini comics with RX-tiction, Life-Cycle, Orryx) coming to Kickstarter in April of 2019!
It’s great to have some stories coming out in this projects.
I am now pitching other anthologies, but I would like to pitch a publisher either news stories/issues for Digital Forever, or a new project.
How does one do that? Should I do it at cons or submit via the publishers website.
Well that is for the first “Trying to break in” post, back next week, with more, thinking I am going to write about developing daily habits to build a library of ideas/projects/pitches.
Till next time. Thanks for reading! Let me know if there is anything you would like me to cover.
